You are invited to the KS3 Parents' Event on Thursday 26th October 2023
Prior to this event you will receive a report via SIMs Parent app outlining your child’s current attendance and attitude to learning grades. The criteria for how these grades were awarded is listed on the next page. This parental event is designed for you to talk to your child’s form tutor about their attitude to learning.
On Thursday 26th October, the school day will finish for pupils in Years 7, 8 & 9 at 12:45pm, with lunch still provided until 1:15pm. Appointments with your child’s form tutor will be available to book between 1:15pm and 5:20pm. Appointments will be 7 minutes long. For the first time you will have the opportunity to book either an online video call or a face to face in person appointment. We highly encourage your child to attend the appointment with you.
Making Appointments
The school uses an online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your appointment times with your child’s form teacher and receive an email confirming your appointment.
- The system will allocate 7 minutes for your appointment. You will also be asked to choose either “in person” if you are coming to school or “video call” if you would prefer an online appointment.
- As we will be running both types of appointment, it is very important that if you book an in person appointment that you are at the teacher’s room on time. All in person appointments will take place in your child’s form room.

Once registered/logged in you can book your appointments when the event goes live on the website at 6pm on Tuesday 17th October 2023 until the event closes on Tuesday 24th October 2023 at 8pm.
