A unique programme designed to provide insight into studying Theatre and Performance at university, ‘Skill Up in Theatre and Performance’ is our new series of weekly interactive online workshops for Year 12 students!

The Progression team at Leeds Arts University are hosting another, free online ‘Preparing for Arts University Portfolio Project’ course for Year 12 and 13s on Wednesdays, running for 3 weeks from Wednesday 6th January to Wednesday 20th January 2021. This course is for students who are considering applying for progression into Arts (for example the Foundation Diploma Course in Art and Design or an Arts Undergraduate Degree). And is designed to develop work for a portfolio (digital or physical).

Leeds University have a PCI Toolkit aimed at Year 13 students, which covers the benefits of studying theatre and performance at university, the difference between University and Drama School, information about career pathways and an insight to the University of Leeds and the School of Performance and Cultural Industries.
