Science

At Netherhall Junior School we believe that Science is a fundamental and important aspect of everyday life that helps us to understand and change the World.

Netherhall Junior School have recently started working towards achieving PSQM (Primary Science Quality Mark) status. As well as building childrens skills and confidence, receiving this award will help develop a positive attitude about Science and its value to their lives and globally.

Through good teaching of Science, we want to ensure learning goes beyond the classroom. Whenever possible we aim to teach ‘Hands on’ investigations allowing all children to explore and discover for themselves.

The recent partnership with GROW to School delivering outdoor learning has created a lasting impact in the classroom and beyond.
